New York NY 10010
(Gramercy / Flatiron / Murray Hill)
One of the very best NYC beer and food destinations.
6 train to 23rd Street, walk east two blocks along East 23rd Street. Alternatively, L train to 3rd Avenue, walk north on 3rd Avenue for 9 blocks.
‘Craft Beer Emporium’. 40 taps (of which all but about four or five dispense craft beer), 2 casks, and about 50 craft bottles feature here in this serious beer bar and American restaurant that does regular craft promotional events. The food here is outstanding. Deservedly popular, there may possibly be a wait for a table or a bar stool at busy times. Check out the Taproom No.307 channel on youtube.com (Taproom Talk). It would be a terrible crime to miss this place on a visit to NYC. (11/2014).
Good selection of about 40 drafts and good food too. Very impressive and highly recommended, especially as the draft selection promotes local (NY state) beers, though there are beers from other parts of the US as well. We've visited this place 3 or 4 times now on several different trips to NY and have always enjoyed it.
