Brooklyn NY 11201
A modern brewpub with guest beers, one of three Randolph Beers in NYC (the only one brewing). NO CASH ACCEPTED HERE, cards only!
Directions - F train to York Street, walk south briefly passing under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, turn right on Prospect Street passing under the Manhattan Bridge. Alternatively, A / C train to High Street-Brooklyn Bridge, use the far south/east exit (Adams Street), walk north and follow the road round to the 90 degree angle to the right (becoming Sands Street), turn left on Pearl Street, turn right on Prospect Street. Alternatively, FROM THE EAST RIVER OR SOUTH BROOKLYN FERRY at the DUMBO-Brooklyn Bridge Park landing (Pier 1), walk towards the road and follow Old Fulton Street in a south-easterly direction, passing under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, then almost immediately turn left to pass under the Brooklyn Bridge and then its feeder road, the brewpub is on the right just past Pearl Street.
A large (5500 square feet), modern brewpub with a central bar counter which opened in autumn 2017. Unusually for a brewpub, there are a number of guest beers from other craft breweries. The brewing area is in clear view. There are two unusual features: you can pour your own (if you so wish) and get charged ounce by ounce, and you have to pay by card as cash is not accepted. If you opt to be served by the bartender, your beer will come in a pre-determined measure as normal. Shuffleboard, table football, and pinball can all be played here. Lighting is dim, so be careful when climbing and descending the staircase. (12/2017)
